What Commercial Junk Removal Costs

Businesses pay the same rates as homes: by the space the junk takes in the truck. Anything smaller than a quarter load is $150, from any floor.

A desk, a chair and a filing cabinet

$150

One workstation is well under a quarter of the truck, so it is our $150 minimum.

A few offices or a storage room

about a quarter to a half load, $275–$425

Several desks and chairs, a conference table, old monitors and the boxes from the back room.

A whole office move-out

a full load or more, from $780

Every workstation, the break room and the storage closets. A full truck holds about 19 cubic yards.

A tenant left it full

priced by truck space

For landlords and property managers: furniture and junk left in a commercial unit, cleared before the next lease.

How an Office Cleanout Works

Photos or a walkthrough first

Send photos of each room and the address, or we come and look. You get a written quote based on truck space before we schedule the crew.

Evenings and weekends

We can work in the evening or on a weekend, so your staff and customers are not stepping around a crew. Tell us the hours the building allows.

Building rules and insurance

Tell us about the freight elevator reservation, loading dock hours and any certificate of insurance the building manager needs. We schedule inside that window and protect the elevator and hallways on the way out.

Files and data are your job

We are not a shredding or data destruction service. Take out or shred confidential files, and wipe or remove the hard drives, before we come. Empty filing cabinets go like any other furniture.

Cubicles and big furniture come apart

Cubicle panels, L-shaped desks and shelving get taken apart on site when that is what it takes to get them out. That is part of the job and does not change the price.

Where it all goes

Computers, monitors and printers go to electronics recycling, metal goes to scrap-metal recycling when a facility can take it, and the rest is disposed of properly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does commercial junk removal cost?

The same as for homes, by truck space: anything under a quarter load is $150, a quarter load from $275, a half from $425, three-quarters from $575 and a full load of about 19 cubic yards from $780. A whole office is often more than one load. You get a written price before we start.

Can you work after business hours?

Yes. We can come in the evening or on a weekend so the work does not interrupt your business. Tell us the hours your building allows.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. If the building manager asks for a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we send it before the job.

Do you take apart cubicles and large desks?

Yes. Cubicle panels, L-shaped desks and shelving get taken apart on site when needed. It does not change the price.

Do you shred documents or destroy hard drives?

No. Remove or shred confidential files and wipe or remove the hard drives before we come. We haul the empty cabinets and the computers, and the electronics go to recycling.

Do you work with landlords and property managers?

Yes. We clear furniture and junk a tenant left in a commercial unit and schedule around your turnover date and the building’s rules.
